friday the 13

Finished my jewel case today. All I need to do is print it and put it in a dvd case. my jewel case is some what a collage of polaroid's at the front. I'm pretty happy with my jewel case and I think it turned out well. I also helped out my group with their jewel cases too today and we looked over more footage and edited our broadcast. I thought it was a pretty productive day for Joyce and the homies. We were all working. My goal Monday and Tuesday is to finish the course successfully.

Turns out we need more footage. For my part we will have an interview with gr.9 students about their first year of high school. they will help influence why gr.8 students should come here. Also we will have a pan crop of the school while I'm talking. so today we filmed parts of the school for our pan crop. My goal tomorrow is to continue the jewel case and finish it by Friday.

The techy people in my group, Joyce and Brenda, looked over footage and started putting the broadcast together. I started my jewel case today. My jewel case has photos of Brebeuf and tries to promote the greatness of our school. I got a lot done and my goal is to be finished by Friday so I can hand it in.

last day of filming :D

It's our last day of filming today. We're back in the studio filming our anchor Tracy Comer, I mean Nguyen. This is our ending when Tracy ends of the broadcast and say's goodbye. Filming went smoothly and only took half the class. My goal tomorrow is to start putting the footage together and have most of the editing done. Also I want my jewel case to be done by Friday as well.

Today i finished my pancrop, it took a while but its done. Tomorrow my goal is to finish interviewing students for our group broadcast, and hopefully our final product of our broadcast will be done friday.

again I worked on pan crop. I finished almost everything. all I need to do is add my music and my ten second logo. I finished my ten seconds on after effects but ran into some trouble rendering it. my goal Monday is to finish it all and put it all together. after that all I have to do is the broadcast.

Today I started filming my reporting part!!! pretty exciting and it was a lot of fun. tomorrow our goal is to finish my footage and get some more interviews done other than that everything is looking pretty good.

Today I tried to think of some more questions I can ask for my interview. I wasn't at school today but tomorrow I will be filming my part. My goal tomorrow is to finish filming my part and we will have all our footage for the broadcast. back to you Tracy Comer!

Today I worked on pan crop and started gathering my assets. Hopefully I will be done pan crop by Thursday and our broadcast will be done Friday.

Friday I spent some time looking over the script and trying to memorize it. Also I started to plan out who and where will I be interviewing people. I'm think second floor near the big window or near the front of the school. My goal for Monday is to have at least a practice shoot fro my part to see where I should improve and how I can be a better reporter.

Welcome to BNN news

today we started filming our anchor, my creative partner, Tracy Nguyen. We started filming our news intro about our topic which is Brebeuf. we had some trouble with lighting and audio but we managed to fix it. by Monday we'll hopefully be ready to film my reporter part and my goal is to finish filming our broadcast by Wednesday.

Wednsday, May 28, 2014.

Today we recorded some footage for the beginning of our news brief. things turned out well and we are ready to keep on recording the next part. we'll continue recording hopefully Friday. My only goal tomorrow is to pass our last tech test. fingers crossed.

Script is DONE

 

Tuesday, May 27 and our script is done. Just a few editing here and there but the script is written. Me and my creative partner Tracy went over a little of my goal due date but that's ok. Tomorrow hopefully we cant officially start filming our broadcast and have it done by mid next week.

Pan crop

 

First day of working on pan crop. This is the individual component of our broadcast cpt. Me and my creative partner Tracy started to take photos for pan crop and will hopefully start on the actual video tomorrow. Due date for pan crop is June 6.

Script is almost done, all we need is the conclusion. Our tech people are ready to start filming and hope to have some footage by next Friday. Things look like they are coming along and we'll be having are broadcast very soon!

Behind the Scenes

Team Joyce and homies are working hard and me and my creative partner Tracy is halfway through the script. Our goal tomorrow is to finish it completely. Today we got a chance to test out the equipment and film some practice footage. We are moving well ahead with our broadcast assignment and our goal by the end of next week is to have our final piece. Lets go team Joyce and homies!

Day 2 of Broadcast

 

Second day with my group, "Joyce and the Homies." Tracy and I are the producers of the group and started working on the script which we plan on finishing Friday. Brenda and Joyce on the other hand are the technical crew. They started to learn about the equipment today. We got a good start on the cpt and hoping to continue well tomorrow.

Today i have set up my own blogger. I'll be using it for updates of my group cpt. My cpt group is joyce, tracy, brenda, and me. By the end of this day I hope to accomplish tasks and plan for the broadcast cpt. Tomorrow i hope to get started with it.
